International Electric Vehicle Races | TEKNOFEST

2025/26October 7 - June 5Electrical and Electronics Team MemberCompleted

As part of the TEKNOFEST International Electric Vehicle Races, I worked in the electrical and electronics team on the vehicle control system, telemetry, CAN Bus communication network, and driver display.

Responsibilities

  • I worked on an ESP32-based vehicle control system
  • I developed LoRa-based telemetry communication
  • I structured the CAN Bus network connecting the BMS, AKS, dashboard, motor driver, and sensors
  • I prepared the driver display using a Raspberry Pi 4 and a touchscreen
  • I built the in-vehicle display interface with Qt

Technical scope

I contributed to the control, communication, and display systems required for the vehicle's subsystems to work together. My work included the microcontroller-based control structure, LoRa telemetry link, CAN Bus communication network, and driver display. I focused on collecting vehicle data, transferring it between systems, and presenting it to the driver through a readable interface.

TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition | TEKNOFEST

2024/25May 25 - August 8Electronics Team MemberCompleted

I worked as an electronics team member in the TEKNOFEST Robolig Competition. This was one of my early robotics projects, developed during my first year of engineering education with more basic tools and limited technical experience.

Responsibilities

  • I worked on the robot's basic electronic connections
  • I helped set up the motor driver, microcontroller, and power connections
  • I helped with the integration and testing process alongside the mechanical team

Technical scope

The project focused on basic electronic wiring, motor driver setup, microcontroller connections, and making the electronic system work together with the mechanical structure. As a first-year project, it helped me gain practical experience in wiring, power distribution, and the testing process of robotic systems.
